Independent legal advice on a settlement agreement offered by your employer. Includes a signed certificate confirming you have received advice, which your employer will require before the agreement becomes binding. Covers a standard settlement agreement for a single employee.

  • A meeting or call to explain the agreement, its effect, the claims being waived, and whether the terms are reasonable.
  • Advice on whether to accept, reject, or negotiate the terms.
  • A signed certificate of independent legal advice.
  • One follow-up email or call if you have further questions after the initial meeting.

What's not included

  • Settlement agreements involving complex discrimination, whistleblowing, or group claims (I can quote separately).
  • Negotiation with your employer on revised terms (I can quote for this as an additional service).
  • Employment tribunal proceedings.
  • Tax advice (including VAT, corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, and stamp duty).
